The 3D Oculus Rift headset that we will use to test the Virtual Reef Prototype has arrived! We are excited to test out the new 3D headset and see how the program graphics have improved. We also ordered the PC, and monitor for the 2D version which will be used in our comparison experiment.

We had a team meeting to plan the activities and we are getting all of the equipment configured and ready to go!

We welcome Stephanie de Buhr to the team as well! She is our student worker who is currently enrolled in the ISATEC masters program at ZMT. She wrote her bachelor’s thesis on coral reefs and climate change and is a great addition to our team.
